The Story Behind This Space

I was born and raised on the rocky, windswept coast of Newfoundland — a place where storytelling runs deep and resilience lives in every tide.

Now living in Ottawa, I’ve spent decades as a teacher. But deep down, I’ve always been a creator.

For years, I poured my heart into caring for others — my family, my students, my never-ending to-do list. But there was always a quiet voice inside me whispering:

“There’s more.”
More stories to tell.
More joy to feel.
More me to live.

So, I finally listened.
